From assisting at the Clemson Farmers Market to supporting signature Chamber events, our volunteers play a vital role in connecting, protecting, and growing the Clemson area.

Event Support

Join us in helping make Chamber events successful and memorable. Volunteers assist with event setup, registration, hospitality, and logistics at programs including:

  • Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon
  • State of the Community Series (Clemson, Central, Six Mile, Pendleton)
  • Business After Hours & Coffee Chats
  • Women in Business events
  • Clemson Young Professionals socials
  • Holiday Reception & Community Celebrations

This opportunity is ideal for individuals or groups who enjoy meeting people and engaging directly with the business community.

Clemson Farmers Market

Our largest ongoing volunteer opportunity! Assist with:

  • Vendor setup and check-in
  • Kids’ Zone activities
  • Live music and demonstration coordination
  • Information tent and Chamber table
  • Community partner booth support

When: Wednesdays, 3:00–7:00 PM (March–October) Perfect for students, service clubs, and organizations looking to fulfill community service hours.

Ambassador Program

Become the face of the Chamber! Ambassadors welcome new members, attend ribbon cuttings, and represent the Chamber at major events. It’s an excellent way to gain visibility, leadership experience, and build lasting relationships in the business community.
Ambassadors are recognized annually at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon for their dedication and service.

Community Outreach

Strengthen the connection between the Chamber and the community by volunteering at local civic and business initiatives, such as:

  • Local festivals and business expos
  • Downtown beautification and clean-up projects
  • Student and university engagement activities

Volunteering with the Chamber qualifies for verified community service hours — a great opportunity for students, interns, and corporate teams looking to give back.

Visitor Center Assistance

Love meeting new people? Volunteer at the Clemson Area Visitor Center, greeting travelers, sharing information, and helping guests discover local attractions and businesses. Volunteers assist with visitor inquiries, brochure restocking, and Chamber program promotion.
